History
Hello. My name is Jon Macalutas. I have had the privilege of enjoying a seven-year professional baseball career.
My career began in 1996, when I signed with Western Baseball League’s Salinas Peppers. Immediately, I was picked up by the Milwaukee Brewers organization, where I reached double-A level.
After five years with the Brewers, I returned to the Western Baseball League with the Chico Heat, where I was part of the league championship win in 2002. And in 2003 before voluntarily retiring, I had briefly joined the Florida Marlins.
Since my retirement from professional baseball, I opened Mac’s Professional Baseball School in Chico, California in 2003 and was the Hitting Coach for the Chico Outlaws of the Golden Baseball League for the 2004-2007 seasons. Currently, I am now the manager of the Outlaws.
